Copy editing, or Line editing, entails going through your written work line by line, correcting spelling, punctuation and grammatical errors.
It will also pick up any poor continuity (for example, your heroine has blue eyes in one chapter and brown in the next), weak dialogue, overuse of adverbs, under- or overuse of dialogue tags, and syntax issues.
Because you as the author have to approve (and in some cases apply or reject) any changes, proofreading following editing is strongly recommended.
There is no assessment fee for Editing. Costs are based on total word count.
